Questions and answers
Who can sign up?
Any registered business. The person signing up should be authorised to act for the company, because they become its first LedgerIQ user and can invite colleagues later.
Why is my account not opened straight away?
We check every sign-up before opening an account. It keeps fake registrations out and protects the companies already on LedgerIQ. You will get an email as soon as yours is approved.
I did not receive the confirmation email.
Check your spam or promotions folder. If it is not there after an hour, write to support@finverse360.com from the same address and we will help.
I heard about LedgerIQ through my bank or accountant. Do I still sign up here?
Yes. Put their name in "How did you hear about us?" so we can link your account to any package they offer.
What is set up for me when I am approved?
Your company, your first user, a main ledger in your country's currency, a finance cost centre and functional area, and a standard chart of accounts you can extend.
How do I sign in the first time?
Use the email you signed up with and the temporary password in your welcome email, then change the password.
Can I add my colleagues?
Yes. Each colleague gets their own sign-in and a role, such as accountant, manager or treasurer, so they only see and do what their role allows.
Which reports are available?
Trial balance, income statement (including monthly and by cost centre), balance sheet, cash flow (indirect and direct), general ledger detail, journal register, payables and receivables ageing, VAT return, budget against actual and key metrics.
How do bank statements get into LedgerIQ?
Upload the statement file. LedgerIQ validates every line, shows any problems in red, and only posts once you approve. Journals are then proposed from your rules.
Can I stop changes to a month I have already closed?
Yes. Close the accounting period and LedgerIQ blocks new or changed journals dated in it.
Does it handle payroll and fixed assets?
Yes, as optional modules: Nigerian payroll with remittance schedules, a fixed asset register with depreciation runs, and inventory with stock valuation.
What does the Chartered Accountant do?
Reviews your accounts periodically, answers accounting and compliance questions, and helps you prepare for audit or filing.
Who can see my company's data?
Only your company's users, each limited by their role, and the Finverse360 support team when you ask for help. Every company's data is kept separate.
Is there an audit trail?
Yes. Postings, approvals and changes are recorded with the user and time.
Someone asked me for my password. What should I do?
Do not share it. Finverse360 will never ask for it. Change your password and tell us at support@finverse360.com.
